摘要:本文是初中英语教学论文,本文通过对英语第二课堂在初中教学实践中的研究分析,旨在提出完善英语第二课堂教学的建议和切实可行的对策,帮助中学发现并改正其在英语第二课堂中存在的问题,从而提高英语第二课堂教学效率,并丰富和补充了英语第二课堂的相关理论。

At present, many countries have been widely developing the Second Classroom activities, scholars at home and abroad have studied them from different aspects, and the scope of the study is also wider and wider, and the content of the study is deeper and deeper.
2.1 Studies of the Second Classroom abroad
In foreign countries, the practical and theoretical studies on the Second Classroom are active. The descriptions of the Second Classroom activities are various, but the cores of these descriptions are similar. To expand teaching and learning space, some scholars regard the Second Classroom as practical activities. Some extra activities, such as volunteer work and part-time job are considered extra-curricular activities even if they are not sponsored by the school. This part introduces the Second Classroom of different countries mainly from two aspects: the second classroom is mainly about English ( English is as the second language),and the second classroom is about other foreign languages ( English is as the mother language). Firstly, the literature review is about some countries that English is as the second language, and the teaching contents of the Second Classroom are about English. Compared with other countries, the Second Classroom developed faster in Japan, and schools carried out different kinds of activities. For Korea, foreign language teaching began with the systematic education courses after 1955, and it also emphasized on the correlation between language and students’ life. In Singapore, it had introduced and adopted student-centered teaching mode since the mid-80s, beyond that, it also emphasized the importance of learning environment, and hired English teachers with higher salary. Secondly, the literature review is about other countries that English is as the mother language, and the teaching contents of the Second Classroom are mainly about other foreign language instead of English. In the 1860s, there were some science exhibitions in Britain. In France, there were many organizations of learning activities for students. In the United States, schools carried out all kinds of Summer Camp for students. In the Soviet Union, the Legislation
Outline of National Education pointed that the purpose of the Second Classroom education was to develop students’ interests in all aspects and talents, to cultivate the sense of independent consciousness and responsibility, the pursuit of knowledge and interest in science.
