摘要:本文是一篇初中英语教学论文,本研究采用实证研究方法,比较了互动教学模式与传统教学模式对学生英语阅读兴趣和英语阅读成绩的影响,在教学实验之前,大多数EC和CC的学生对英语阅读缺乏兴趣。
本文是一篇初中英语教学论文,笔者认为尽管交互式教学模式有很多好处,但也有必要注意一些问题。首先,改变教师和学生的角色可能很重要。出于旧的学习习惯,一些学生过于依赖老师的引导,但教师必须克制自己提供过多此类脚手架的冲动。交互式教学模式要求教师从知识的传递者转变为领导者、组织者和参与者。
1.Introduction
1.1 Background of the Research
With the increasing development of English education in China,English hasbecome vital in high school teaching system.However,in some areas,junior highschool English teaching is relatively backward,with certain gaps between society'requirements and students'ability in Xinjiang,where's the level of English teachingis falling behind that of the coastal areas to some extent.
The newest curriculum standards for junior high school English(2011)requirethat,the aims towards English reading of Grade Eight are as follows:1)Studentsmust be able to grasp and process information.2)They must master related readingstrategies and skills to read accurately and fast.3)They must be able to comprehendthe main ideas of a passage;understand the specific words used in an article;correctly figure out the meanings of words and expressions according to the context;judge and infer correctly based on the reading materials;be clear of the meaning ofthe contest,the structure of the passage and the intentions and attitudes of the author.
It can be seen from the above requirements,reading's purpose and functionmake it a key factor of English teaching.The teaching of English reading shouldemphasize both on cultivation of students'linguistic abilities and their readingstrategies,learning interest,language skills,and other areas(Zhang Yingying,2014).Furthermore,its functions are related to absorbing knowledge,improving Englishlistening skills,enlarging vocabulary as well as lifting English writingcompetence(Zhao Chang,2017).Therefore,the level of English reading teachingin Xinjiang minority areas needs to be improved urgently.
1.2 Significance of the Research
1.2.1 Theoretical Significance
The research has the following theoretical significance:
First of all,this research,based on the theories of constructivism and humanismteaching,applied Interactive Teaching Model to English reading teaching in theJunior high school;after analysis of the first hand data,it has drawn some scientificconclusion.Thus,combination was made of the theories of constructivism andhumanistic teaching with the English reading practice in junior high schools.Therefore,it has enriched the theoretical systems of related theories.
Secondly,the empirical study of Interactive Teaching Model conducted injunior high school English classes in Xinjiang not only verifies relevant theories ofInteractive Teaching Model,but also broadens the theoretical application,so it has acertain degree of theoretical significance.
Finally,relevant literature was systematically combed on Interactive TeachingModel's application in junior high school English reading,and definitions andinterpretations were made of the relevant concepts,thus enriching the theoreticalsystem of this field.Therefore,this study also has certain theoretical significance inthis aspect.
