摘要:本文是一篇高中英语教学论文,通过对学习案例的分析,发现:学习案例具有以下特点:学习案例中知识点的设计符合学生的学习规律。

This research constructed the analyticallyframe based on this connection, in order to analysis the learning cases in practice. Theresearchers need some critical thinking of learning cases. It’s an important carrier of theknowledge that students need to learn. (Shan Zi, 2011: 24) So, the efficiency of the learningcases still needs to be explored.

So, this research intends to solve these questions: 1. What are the characteristics of thelearning cases from the perspective of deep learning? 2. What are the problems of the learningcases that are inconsistent with the requirements of deep learning? 3. How is the applicationeffect of the learning cases?

Chapter Two Literature Review


2.1 Learning CasesThe learning cases are the wisdom products of Chinese practical teaching based on thethoughts of learning before teaching. The introduction of the learning cases mainly includestwo aspects: the understandings of the concept of the learning cases and the discussions of theconstituent elements of the learning cases.

The concept of the learning cases is abstracted, the learning cases usually be regarded asteaching plans and exercise cases, but the function of leading learning of them is ignored incertain degree. Until now, there’s not a clear concept of learning cases. There are manyscholars who defined the learning cases:

Gong Guosheng (2011) claims that learning cases are texts adapted for students’self-learning. They are designed by teachers from the perspective that guide students’self-learning according to the curriculum standards, student needs and students’ originallearning experience.

Bu Jin (2013) points out that learning cases are curriculum resources shared by teachersand students. They are learning plans with the function of teaching and learning which weredesigned by teachers based on the specific academic situations, the textbooks and othervarious supplementary resources.

Guan Shiwei & Zang Shumei (2005) claims that learning cases contain two parts: firstly,they are the learning programs for students, which focus on the design of learning contents;secondly, they are the teaching programs for teachers, focusing on teaching. They are mainlythe classroom teaching designs based on the question discussions or the difficulties of theteaching materials. They aim at improving students’ learning ability and developinghigh-level thinking.

2.2 Studies of Learning Cases

The learning cases is a wisdom product based on the teaching practice in China. There isno research on learning cases in foreign countries.The learning cases can be traced back to the 1980s. 

The term “learning case” was firstseen in Professor Zhang Chengfu’s (1986) paper. In his paper, he mainly introduced theconstituent elements of the learning cases. The contents of this part were introduced in 2.1.Later many papers were published, but most of them are empirical summaries andgeneralizations of teachers. They are relatively fragmented and have no impact on basiceducation. The real sprout of the learning cases accompanied with the promotion of the newcurriculum reform.
