摘要:Thus, as English teachingmajor students and the future teachers, learning to questioning critically is the requirementfrom the profession of teachers as well as from the success of the education reform. Therefore,it is necessary to have an empirical research in the field of classroom questioning and critical thinking in English Teaching majors.
Conclusion
On the basis of the present study, the following suggestions are put forth for the furtherresearch.
First, researches similar in objective and participants to this study should have a largersize of the sample so that the results can be more reliable.
Second, the participants used in the further study had better be from different kinds ofuniversities. If this suggestion is to be adopted, the results should be more convincing for thevariety of features in English Teaching majors’ from different schools
Third, condition permitting, the participants should be provided with a real contextwhich is helpful for their judgments and performances. If done as this recommendation, thetest involving participants would go more smoothly, and the result would be more complete.
Finally, it is suggested that more empirical studies focused on critical thinking andclassroom questioning should be carried out, and the development of critical thinking abilityand the skills of classroom questioning should be paid more attention to.
