摘要:本文是一篇英语教学论文发表,本研究采用定量和定性研究相结合的方法,由两个问卷量表、两个听力测试和一个半结构访谈作为主要的研究工具,利用SPSS26.0统计软件对所收集的数据进行描述性分析、方差分析以及独立样本T检验。

本文是一篇英语教学论文发表,笔者认为听力理解是中小学英语教学中的一个重要部分。听力策略,是听力理解取得成功的关键。听力策略能够促使学习者主动参与听力的信息加工过程,而不是被动接收。

1.1 Background of the Research

Nowadays,English listening teaching in schools is still dominated by traditionalteaching methods.Traditional listening teaching is teacher-centered,emphasizing thatstudents can improve their listening comprehension level by providing a large numberof comprehensible inputs,that is,listening is considered to be a passive process ofreceiving information.Listening teaching in this way ignores students’initiative andmakes students gradually lose interest in listening comprehension.(Chen,2010)Learning to use certain learning strategies is the key to improve the learningefficiency for students.Learning strategies refer to the strategies adopted by learnersto effectively promote learning.Listening strategy is also a kind of learning strategies,which is the key to the success of listening comprehension.Listening strategies canencourage learners to actively participate in processing information in listeningcomprehension and cultivate learners'awareness and abilities of autonomous learning.Therefore,listening strategies have been widely valued and studied by scholars athome and abroad.

Vandergrift(1996),a foreign researcher,explores the relationship between theuse of listening strategies and listening level.The results show that there is asignificant correlation between the two.Students with different listening levels usedifferent listening strategies in the process of listening comprehension.In other words,the proper use of listening strategies is the key to improve students'listening ability.Therefore,the training of listening strategies is particularly important.In this regard,some domestic researchers have also conducted relevant research.Su(2003)studiesthe importance of listening strategies training and the ways of implementing listeningstrategies training.The results show that listening strategies training is indeed helpfulto improve listening comprehension level.

1.2 Purpose and Significance of the Research

The Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)pointsout that the core competences of English subject mainly include language ability,cultural awareness,thinking capacity and learning ability.Among them,learningability refers to the awareness and ability to actively use and adjust English learning strategies,expand English learning channels,and strive to improve English learningefficiency.The development of learning ability helps students master scientificlearning methods and develop good lifelong learning habits.Therefore,with thebackground of the new curriculum reform,the listening strategies training for studentsis very much needed in junior high schools.
