摘要:From the statement of the above phenomenon, it is obvious that under the traditionalmodel of the college English listening, listening was once believed to be a passive one-waycomprehensive process.
Conclusion
According to the theoretical exploration and verification base on practice of collegeEnglish listening teaching mode based on schema theory, the author has obtained someachievements in scientific research. Some major findings from the research are as follows:In the first place, the schema-based teaching method applied in the experiment class hasimproved the students’ efficiency in listening comprehension. The mean score of theexperiment class in the post-test was 3.1 higher than that in the pre-test. That proves the actualeffect of schema theory in college English listening teaching, and confirms the validity of thefirst hypothesis through teaching experiment.In the second place, the new schema theory-oriented listening teaching mode is moreefficient than traditional one in improving students’ listening comprehension ability. Themean score of the experiment class in the post-test was 3.1 higher than that in the pre-test, andthe mean score of the control class in the post-test was 0.9666 higher than that in the pre-test.It can be discovered from the above data that there is conspicuous disparity between theprogress degree of the control class and that of the experiment class after the implementationof two sorts of listening teaching mode based on different theoretical frameworks.
