2.2.1 Difference in Social Class
 
From Robinson’s life on the island we can know that he is very good at living. He can create things he needs and finally become the “king” of the isolate island. All those will-power must come from all the books he learned. In another word good family and good education also was one of reasons made him survival in the island. As for this that Robinson can in that circumstance, overcame various difficulties and created splendor of his life.
 
In addition, the high class people did not care about other’s opinion. They usually do whatever they want. Robinson Crusoe was such an example. He went on sail without listening to his father’s advice, when he decided to do one thing nobody can stop him. 

Santiago, who was living in a bad condition, adversely, he was belonging to the low social class. Everything in his house was shabby including his fish tool. People lived in this condition were easy to care of other’s view, and easy be isolated. Santiago was the typical example. 84 days did not catch one fish, even the little boy was left him. Although he said doesn’t care those things but in his deep heart he was very care about it. Hence he did not care the weather and went to the centre ocean to catch fish, this action is to prove that “I, Santiago, am not always bad luck, even I am in bad luck but I am very skilled in fishing”. As for this he fight again sharks try his best.
 
Although Santiago didn’t catch one fish, for a long time, he still want to fishing, and never thought to give up his living style. In his mind, he is a fisherman he must live by fishing, otherwise, he would die. This is the narrow insight. Meanwhile, it proves Santiago is not very education.
 
2.2.2 Difference in Age
 
As we know people of different age have different attitudes to life. Robinson was a young guy and loved adventures. He didn’t listen to his father’s advice. Although he faced bad weather, and drifted to the isolated island. Finally he lived on the land and went to his home town.
