life, there is much time when we are disappointed, depressed and annoyed. We do not really have to look for it. Of course, there is no doubt that most people have lapses and need to allow themselves some room to ponder over. The point is to see these lapses as little mistakes not as total catastrophes. Forgiving will come to deal with the depression effectively.
Probably, the following touching story will come to solve this problem ― a happy life from forgiving.
In a beautiful campus, two youth love each other deeply. One day, it was the girl’s birthday, and the boy holds a birthday party for the girl. All their friends come to the birthday party. And all had a wonderful time. In the party, everyone can tell that the love they had for each other is true. As the dark falls, the girl comes to the boy with a proposal: “Some days ago, I read in a magazine about how we can strengthen the love,” she offered “each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying with each other, then, we can talk about how we can fix them together and make our lives happier together”.
The boy agrees, then, they go to their dormitory separately. They think about this question for the rest of the day and write down what they come up with.
The next morning, at the breakfast, as they scheduled that they will go over their lists.
“I will start”, said the girl, she takes out her list. There are many items on it, enough to fill 3 pages. Actually, the tears are starting to appear in the boy’s eyes as she starts reading the list of the little annoyances.
“What is the matter?” She asked, “Nothing” the boy replied, “Keep reading your list”.
The girl continues to read all of the rest to the boy, and then neatly place her list on the table and fold her hands over the top of it.
“Now, you read your list and then we will talk about the things on both of our lists,” she says happily.
The boy states quietly, “I do not have anything on my list; I think that you are perfect, I do not want you to change anything for me. You are lovely and perfect and I would not want to try and change anything about you”.
The girl, moved by his honesty and the depth of his love for her and his acceptance of her, turned her head away and wept.
We have a wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise. Why waste time in this world looking for something bad, disappointing or annoying when we can look around us, but see the wondrous things before us.
Following and enjoying the happy life without the annoyance, forgiving the little things in the daily life.
