Obviously, happiness cannot be found when we are yearning for new desires. To solve this problem, why not change the focus of our thinking from what we want to what we have. For instant, rather than wishing our sweetheart charming, try thinking about her lovely; rather than complaining our salary, be grateful that we have a job; rather than wishing us able to take a vacation to Hawaii, thinking of how much fun we get around our houses.
If we don’t focus on what we want, but on what we have, probably, we will get more than what we want; if we focus on our sweetheart’s lovely appearance, she will be more lovely; if we are grateful for our jobs rather than complaining, we will complete it better and be more productive, finally we get the salary arise; if we focus on ways to enjoy ourselves around house rather than waiting to Hawaii, we will have more fun.
Therefore, it is necessary to start thinking more about what we have than what we want from now on. If we follow that, our lives will get much better than before and our emotions will get improved.
D. Facing the Challenge
There is no doubt that there are a lot of obstacles in our lives. In order to overcome all the difficulties, we must persist in our minds to move forward. The winner is not always the person who wins the champion, but also the person who persists in his goal, even if who ends up in failure.
As is known to all, failure is not fearful; the terrible thing is that the person who has no courage to pick it up again.
1. Being Confident
Confident people ask for feedback early. They are able to adapt to circumstances and make necessary changes.
For instance, a friend of mine, he took part in the CET-4 examination for four times, never gave it up. During the four times, he met a lot of difficulties, but he overcame all of them one by one—he recited nearly one hundred pieces of articles to perfect his poor writing; he recited four tapes of model test to overcome the listening problem. Finally, he got the certificate of CET–4. Therefore, people can achieve the goal they made if they overcome all the difficulties and persist in achieving their dreams. Facing the challenge, this will shorten the distance of the goal.
2. Enjoying the Difficulties
As stated above, we can see that it is necessary for us to pursue the art of relaxation and enjoy the methods of getting rid of depression. In modern times, the depression becomes more and more serious. It is the right time to change this phenomenon.
After the investigation of the students on campus and the people in the street, it is commonly believed that it is possible for us to get rid of depression if we can pursue relaxation naturally but for a special purpose, so people do be sure to remember that relaxation, not achievement is their main reasons for participating in the activity. Besides, there are also many other useful ways for people to get rid of the depression and enjoy the art of relaxation, such as: considering what we have instead of what we want; lying down comfortably and quietly; facing the challenge; rejecting reasonably; forgiving; etc.
