化更强调 “统一性” , 但各民族又要弘扬自己的文化、保持自己的认同感, 以保持世界的多样性。这也就是所谓的“和而不同” 。英语的国际化和本土化之间的矛盾其实就是统一性和多样性之间的矛盾。近年来学者们提倡“国际英语” 的 “共核” , 也就是要在保持各英语变体共通性的基础上, 保持人们自己的认同感, 因为语言是文化的载体, 又是文化的一部分。本文就 “质疑” 一文提出的一些问题进行了一点阐述, 也希望对此问题感兴趣的学者发表看法。 “中国英语” 的问题如果现在还在象牙塔里, 那不久的将来它必然要走出来, 到时候我们就不得不面对了。
