摘要:本文是一篇初中英语教学论文,笔者认为中国文化的传承和学生价值取向的引导离不开英语教学中文化意识的培养。文化意识的培养可以给英语教育以人文关怀,改变目前的机械记忆和语法练习,促进英语学习从“死记硬背”到“灵活运用”。
Firstly,the ICC of middle school students is slightly different in four dimensions.The cross-cultural meta-cognition level is the highest,the cross-cultural behaviorlevel is higher,the cross-cultural motivation level is general,and the cross-culturalcognition is the weakest.Students’ICC has significant differences in grade,but thereis no significant difference in gender and whether they have overseas experience.Thefour dimensions of ICC are highly correlated with itself.
Secondly,the cultivation of ICC in middle school English teaching is notoptimistic.Although teachers generally have the awareness of culture teaching,influenced by the cultural differences between English and Chinese,the culturalliteracy of English teachers,the cultural environment of English curriculum and theevaluation system of English teaching,it is difficult to cultivate ICC and the situationof actual implementation is weak.
Thirdly,according to the current situation that mentioned above,the trainingstrategies of taking theme as the unit,task as the engine,problem-solving as thepurpose and cooperative learning as the core are presented.The results ofpost-questionnaire show that these strategies can effectively improve middle schoolstudents’ICC.
