摘要:本文是一篇初中英语论文,本文从三个方面对初中英语口语融合课的现状进行了分析,以期为英语教师更好地实施英语道德融合课提供一些有益的启示。

Chapter 2 Literature Review

2.1 Key Concepts

2.1.1 Curriculum Ideological and Political Education

Cai(2021:52-57)states that curriculum ideological and political education isdifferent from ideological and political course.It is a comprehensive educational ideawhich takes“enhancing morality and cultivating people”as its ultimate goal.

Wang and Shi(2020:50-58)points out that curriculum ideological and politicaleducation means that all elements concerning it,including its theoretical knowledge,value,concept and spiritual pursuit,should be integrated into each course and it has asubtle impact on students'thoughts and behavior.

Zhang and Li(2021:116-121)states that the concept of curriculum ideologicaland political education has two senses.In a broad sense,it means the integration ofideological and political factors into all the courses of colleges.In a narrow sense,itmeans the integration into all the courses of all learning periods.

Curriculum ideological and political education is not only an educational idea,but also a systematic guide to the method of ideological and political education,forming a teaching system with ideological and political objectives(Li and Ji2021:88-92).

2.2 Theoretical Basis

2.2.1 Xi Jinping’s Theory of Curriculum Ideological and PoliticalEducation

At the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges andUniversities,President Xi(2016)emphasized that ideological and political work isconcerned with the development of human beings.It must focus on,care for,andserve for students,and continuously improve students'ideological and political level,political awareness,moral quality,and cultural literacy,so that students can becomeuseful intelligence for the country with both ability and political awareness.Allteachers should strengthen their self-construction and better assume theirresponsibility as both educator and knowledge transmitter for healthy growth ofstudents.Besides,all teachers should strive to be the communicators of advancedideas and culture.President Xi also emphasized that we must strengthen theconstruction of teachers’morality,insist on the unity of teaching and educating,andthe unity of teaching by preaching and teaching by role models.Therefore,it is ofgreat necessity to persist in establishing morality and cultivating people as the coretask and running ideological and political work in the whole process of education andteaching.


2.2.2 Hebert’s Educational Teaching Theory

Herbert(1989)clearly pointed out that there is no concept of“education withoutteaching”,conversely,there is no concept of“teaching without education”,whichshows the close relationship between teaching and education.He focused not only onthe teaching methods or teaching patterns but also,most importantly,on the ultimate goal of teaching,that is,the completion of an individual’s morality.
