高三英语过程性写作教学的应用研究

摘要:本文是高中英语教学论文,本研究将研究对象分为试验班和对照班,分别采用过程写作教学法和结果写作教学法进行教学,通过实验所得的数据进行对比和分析,试图验证“过程写作教学法”是否有助于提高学生的写作能力,是否能够有效提高学生的修改意识,增强学生与人合作的意识并激发写作兴趣。
1. Introduction
1.1 Background of the Research
With the increasing importance of English communication in modern society, the ability to use English is becoming more and more important. Among the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, writing accounts for 6 percent in the national college entrance examination. The output of writing can be fully ensured only by inputting a large amount of reading and listening. However, the present situation of English writing teaching in senior high schools in China is not optimistic. There is a big gap between the teachers' expectation and the students’ performance regarding the New Curriculum Standards. The author participated in the First Diagnostic Test in Xinjiang Autonomous Region in 2015. The total average score of English writing is 13.55. In 2016 the author participated in the marking of English writing in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region College Entrance Examination, where the average score of writing is 11.05. The number of the students who got zero in the test paper accounts for eight percent of the total volume. From the point view of the students, according to the investigation of the writing situation of high school students, high school students gain great achievement in vocabulary, grammar and reading, while students gain less competence in writing skills. Most students find it difficult to write in English; they either have nothing to say or their articles are full of mistakes. If things go on like this, most of the students will not be interested in writing any more. They show no confidence in improving the writing skills. English teachers in high schools are aware of the importance of writing teaching and the present situation of students. But under the pressure of courses and exams in an exam oriented education, they have no choice but to continuously compress the time for writing training. Some of the English teachers only begin to practice writing in the grade three of the high school, just for the sake of the exam.

1.2 Significance of the Research
The main purpose of English writing teaching is to improve students’ writing ability. Students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills have positive effects on the transfer between the four. Therefore, the improvement of students’ writing ability can improve students’ English learning ability.
