The students’ vocabulary expansion can solve the difficulties caused by  the  vocabulary.  Secondly,  there  is  a  complementary  relationship  between  writing  and reading.  Therefore,  it  is  an  important  way  to  improve  the  quality  of  English  teaching  by paying attention to the teaching of English Writing. So,  how  to  improve  our  English  writing  teaching  level?  With  the  consideration  of  this problem,under  the  guidance  of  the  theory  of  process-focused  writing  approach  at  home  and abroad,  the  author  has  made  an  experiment  on  the  teaching  method  of  process-focused writing  approach  in  No.3Middle  School  in  Yining,  Xinjiang.  The  theoretical  basis  of  the process-focused  writing  approach  is  the  theory  of  communication.  It  stated  that  writing  is  a cyclic process of psychological cognition, creative thinking process and social interaction and learning.  The  writer  must  pass  a  series  of  cognitive  process  of  writing  and  interactive activities to improve their cognitive ability, interactive ability and writing ability. In short, the process  of  writing  teaching  method  can  arouse  students’  writing  interest  and  enthusiasm, displays  student’s  enthusiasm,  creativity  and  initiative,  can  cultivate  students  good  writing habits, enhance students’ sense of cooperation and independent thinking and problem solving ability.

2. Literature Review 

Writing  has  always  been  a  difficult  part  in  the  process  of  English  teaching  in  high  schools. On the one hand, many English teachers in high school think that writing is difficult to teach. They spend a lot of time correcting compositions but with little success. On the other hand, students  generally  reflect  that  it  is  difficult  to  write  a  composition.  In  spite  of  repeated practice,  it  is  still  difficult  to  make  improvement  in  writing.  This  phenomenon  has  aroused the  attention  of  scholars  at  home  and  abroad  and  the  researches  on  Chinese  high  school English  writing  from  all  levels  have  been  launched.  In  the  1960s  process-focused  teaching method has gradually replaced the previous result-focused approach.
