4.1 Effects on Students’Writing Ability
Question one is to explore the effects of the integration ofteaching-learning-assessment on junior high school students’writing abilities.Theresults of the three writing tests,an observation and the test analysis are conducted toanswer this question.
4.1.1 Results and Analysis of Data from Writing Tests
After the research,three teachers at school will give scores to the students,andthe final score is the average.The scores of pre-test and post-test compositions werecompared to check whether the integration of teaching-learning-assessment affectedjunior high school students’writing abilities in language,structure and content.
CHAPTER FIVE CONCLUSION
5.1 Research Findings
As for research question one,the integration of teaching-learning-assessment haspositive effects on junior high school students’writing abilities and all three aspectshave significant improvements especially in the aspect of language.
The effect of the integration of teaching-learning-assessment on improving juniorhigh school students’English writing abilities is significant and obvious.From theanalysis of the scores of the post-test composition,the overall writing abilities hasbeen improved compared with the results of the pre-test composition.All threeaspects of writing abilities are improved significantly through the application of theintegration of teaching-learning-assessment,including language,structure and content.Among the three aspects,language has improved the greatest of the three,with anincrease of 1.81 in average score,so it proves that students’ability to use language isgreatly enhanced.The score change seen in structure reflects that students paid muchattention to the text structure.As for the score change in content,it can be known thatmore students focused on the expression of content in writing.Therefore,theintegration of teaching-learning-assessment has improved junior high school students’writing abilities from three aspects.
