本文是一篇高中英语论文,笔者基于高中学生跨文化意识的现状,本研究对通辽市第五中学二年级随机抽取的200名学生进行了调查。调查结果表明,大多数高中学生都理解跨文化意识在英语阅读学习中的重要性。

1.1 Studies on cross-culture awareness cultivation abroad and at home

The development of cross-cultural awareness at home and abroad has differentstages.This part expounds the literature according to the rules of the developmentstage of cross-cultural awareness.

1.1.1 Studies on cross-culture awareness cultivation abroad

English reading is one of the relevant components of this study.The following isthe relevant literature on English reading abroad.Influenced by behavioristpsychology,linguist Gough(1972)first proposed the theory that reading process is a“bottom-up”process in 1960s.According to this theory,the ultimate goal of reading issimply the recognition of language symbols.That is to say,from the understanding ofwords and sentences to the understanding of each paragraph in the article until theunderstanding of the full text language.In this mode,reading is only regarded as theidentification of language signs without considering the influence of the context in thearticle.Meanwhile,it ignores the cultural background knowledge carried by languageand only sees the function of language as the letter symbol.In this way,the readinglevel of learners cannot be effectively improved.They only understand the meaning ofwords mechanically,and meaningful reading cannot be achieved.Goodman(1967)saw the shortcomings of this model and proposed the Top-down Model in the early1970s.This theory holds that readers should be active participants in informationrather than passive recipients.Compared with the bottom-up model,this modelemphasizes readers'prediction and verification ability based on existing knowledge,and pays more attention to the influence of background knowledge on reading.I

1.2 Studies on cultivation of cross-cultural awareness under the EnglishCurriculum Standards

After the release of the English Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools inteachers,experts and scholars from all over China have discussed and studied thecultivation of cross-cultural awareness in English teaching guided by the EnglishCurriculum Standards for Senior High Schools.Liu Dongmei(2018)explored theproblem that teachers lack the introduction of cross-cultural awareness in Englishreading classroom.She pointed out that senior high school students do not understandforeign culture enough and their English reading ability is limited,and put forwardcorresponding strategies to illustrate that it is very necessary to cultivate students'cross-cultural awareness.Lu Lilin(2020)introduced the necessity of cross-culturalknowledge for students'English reading learning,then analyzed the problems existingin senior high school English reading teaching from three aspects,and put forwardcorresponding countermeasures for these problems.Since the English CurriculumStandards for Senior High Schools was officially released in 2018,there are limitedreference research materials to explore the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness insenior high school English reading teaching with the new curriculum standard as the background or guidance.After the promulgation of the English Curriculum Standardsfor Senior High Schools,Chinese experts and scholars are also committed to theexploration of cultivating stu论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
