One of the important values of literature is communication. Chinese literature has long been trying to get exposed to foreign readers. Before 2010, a lot of work was done by the government. The Panda Series, which was published in 1981, translated and introduced a large number of ancient and contemporary Chinese literature works to overseas in a systematic way. In 1995, the great Chinese Library Project was initiated. In 2006, the Chinese Writers Association launched the project of “100 Excellent Works Translation and Introduction Projects of Chinese Contemporary Literature”, and launched the project of “Overseas Dissemination of Chinese Literature” in 2010. In 2013, the project of “Translation of Contemporary Chinese Works” was launched; The General Administration of Press and Publication launched the “Classic China International Publishing Project” in 2009.
While making certain achievements, there are also many problems. First, the regional distribution of cultural products is unbalanced, that is, the transmission of the products in Southeast Asian countries is good, and the effect in Europe and America is poor. For example, in 2009, the United States translated and published 348 new literature books, but only eight of them were Chinese novels; while in 2004, China introduced 3,932 books from the United States, but only 16 books were introduced from China. Second, the overseas acceptance of Chinese literature is limited and marginalized to a small crowd, with one-sided, limited transmission effect, and it is difficult to enter the mainstream western social discourse. Third, the tendency of politicization in the process of interpreting literary texts is obvious. In the words of Tiziana Terranova (2004), “they like satirical, critical works against the government”. Chinese literature works were selected primarily based on whether they were critics of their own culture and authors dissidents in politics. Therefore, the current “going out” of Chinese literature is difficult and has a long way to go (Chen Weichao, 2019)

1.2 Literature Review

The literature of this study comes from CNKI database, and the relevant literature is collected from keyword retrieval. The author searches by literature topics and keywords, such as 'Chinese Literature', 'online literature', 'web novel', 'going global', 'translation', 'medio-translatology' and 'overseas communication'. The time range is set from January 2010 to December 2021. The keywords are arranged and combined in different ways, and the documents with low relevance or low academic value are removed. Finally, a total of 297 effective literatures are obtained.

For the 297 literatures obtained by the above method, Table 1.1 is made according to the quantity statistics sorted out by year of publication. It is shown as follows:
