How we should face this situation and do business in a compettitive envirionment that means sustainability is the main questions and develop a sound economy for better future of the world. In a exclusive interview with Guardian, Chancellor Darling ( 2008) expressed that Britain is facing the worst economic downturn in 60 years which will be 'more profound and long-lasting' than people had expected. Exactly, the recession is still running and no good forecast of recovery or good condition.

All presentations were prepared on the basis of conference theme of economics and divided into five groups as per subject chosen by the student and these are Finance, Business Strategy, HRM, Value Chain and Information & Knowledge mangement. Student got sufficient time for preparing their presentation with the help of group leader and academic sponsor of Business School.Due to time constraint, there was limited presentation in first day. In second day, conference splitted into groups and presentation was running in several rooms at a time.The huge number of presenter can't deliver in one place in a limted time frame and divided into some groups and presented in a separate room. All presentation is judged by pannel discussion which moderated by expert of respective subject. I had presented on second day regarding logistics management of my country Bangladesh. Integrated maritme and logistics facilities will help Bangladesh to survive in this recission where maximum busineess partner from developed country extreamly facing the recission.

 

Greenwich Maritime Institute director Prof. Sarah Palmer had deliverred the closing speech of the conference. She added that receission is the practical outcomes of world business, it's not a new matter, and we need good leadership to overcome this situation. The student is the future leader who will minimize the problem by their academical and practical learning. Finally, the conference was officially closed by Lola Bejide on behalf of organising committee. Conference party held at the students union bar lattitude that was amaging refressment of the conference.

Development is a continuous process. Full (Avolio,1998) leadership development works to ehance the individual and collective force in groups and organisation which represent as vital force for making ideal relationship with their followers or peers or both.
