摘要:With the advancement of informative technology all over the world, more and morerequirements and needs are demanded to English majors' education, and learners have also raisedtheir thinking height and professional requirements to the study conditions, especially for theirclassroom learning environment.

hingmode, everything seemingly is an advanced, rich learning environment in class,but not just akind of information under the traditional mode.For this reason, this research, based on the theory of humanism theory and from theperspective of standing on the position of students, mainly explains the influence and thesignificance to classroom learning environment. Guided by constructivism theory, it points outthat,in class, the role of students are not only to acquire knowledge instructed by their teachers,on the contrary, they are knowledge and new information constructors. In addition,this researchhas focused more on how to optimize the dissatisfactory factors which are bring some troubles tothe current classroom learning environment for English majors. All in all,constructing thelearning environment in class is quite important for English majors' education.

Chapter 2 Literature Review


2.1 Definitions of Classroom Learning Environment
Learning environment usually refers to the external and internal conditions that supportlearner's learning. In narrow sense, the learning environment is divided into learningenvironment at school,family environment and social learning environment. At school, learningenvironment refers signifies school house, teacher's quality, teaching conditions, teachingmethods, the school atmosphere, learning atmosphere etc, all of these are the factors whichaffects learner's learning. At home, learning environment often refers to the material conditionswhich parents provide to children, such as quiet and comfortable room,harmonious familyrelationship and family members who can tutors learner's study. At the social level, learningenvironment means a social atmosphere that influence learning object the building of learner'soutlook of life and the world. However,this research talks about learning environment at school,all the following discussion will be around this level.Many scholars, both here and abroad,has defined "learning environment,,from their ownangles, the following are some of the typical types.Wilson (1995) thinks that, learning environment is just a place where learners do their studyand finish cooperative task interactively. Plenty of studying tools and information resources havebeen put into use and shared with each learning individuals, in order to solve the problems andachieve the learning target.

2.2 Overview Research of Classroom Learning Environment
Due to the previous section, the scope of learning environment in this research refers tocognitive and emotional environment does not refer to physical environment. Lewin's Field Theory and Murrary's Needs-Press Theory have laid foundation on researchof classroom learning environment. In Murrary's theories, needs provide organized inclination ofdirection and motive power to individual behaviors. Press supports or hinders individualexpressions, or press meets the needs of external environment. Needs and press are two conceptsof reciprocal complement rather than reciprocal supports, they are in a mutual relationship. If aperson needs his group to help him, he will make complete use to build up intimate relationshipwith others, and cooperative environment is identical to this aspect.
