摘要:本文是英语论文范文,文章主要谈论的是数据驱动学习在英语专业里写作的应用。As for English learning, writing is often regarded as one of the thorniest problems. In recent years, many teachers advocate that spoken English should be thecenter of English learning.

ber statistics. After the comparison ofscores, RANGE, a corpus software, was used to analyze the writings of students inboth CG and EG. Then, the results of questionnaire were displayed in the form oftable, which was convenient for the further analysis. Before the experiment, students of two classes were taking part in the pretest,and the final score of each student was the mean of three teachers’ scores. In order toensure internal validity of the study, three students’ scores given by three teacherswere put into correlation analysis via the SPSS 18.0.

Conclusion


The experimental study is to prove the effectiveness of DDL approach onimproving English writing of senior English majors. The results show that it is indeedeffective in improving students’ writing ability and most learners hold positiveconceptions on the DDL approach.Firstly, through analyzing scores of the tests via SPSS 18.0, the obviousimprovement of learners’ writing proficiency has been proved. Albeit the subjects ofCG have made progresses, students of EG have made much more conspicuousprogresses than them in terms of the writing proficiency. Besides scores, writing textsof these two groups are compared via the software RANGE. The results show thatDDL approach has positive effects on learner’s lexical density and complexity. So, theimprovement in lexical level is one of the most crucial reasons for substantialimprovements of learner’s writing proficiency in experimental group.
