摘要:本文使用上海高级口译考试受试者考场录音作为研究对象,研究学生译员在汉英交替传译实践中的监控和修正现象,验证“主要打断规则”是否同样适用于交替传译以及交替传译中计划修正是否一定出现在打断之后。

will review the empirical studies of self-repair, and raisehypothesis in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, detailed methodology will beelaborated, including the test environment, subjects, material, data collection andtranscription of the recording and its sample. The fifth chapter will analyze and discussthe data collected in different ways before conclusion is made and the hypothesis istestified. The major findings will be reported in the sixth chapter. The final chapter willsummarize the study of the paper, and discuss unsettled problems and limitation of thestudy of the present study.

5.1 Major findings

The fact that 1.69% of inappropriate wordings were repaired and 5.99% of errorswere corrected confirms that the monitor is more sensitive to errors. The repairs occuronly when an error or an inappropriately is detected. Without the process of detection,repairs will not happen. Therefore, it is easier for the monitor to detect an error than aninappropriate wording. However, the subject made more errors than inappropriatewordings. That may be due to interpretation is different from translation. Translationrequires fine wording, accurate grammar and other factor that cannot be required ininterpretation, especially interpretation of amateur interpreters, so that lower standardof appropriateness is set when analyzing the materials. As for errors, it is obvious to tellwhether the subject had made an error.
