摘要:本文是一篇高中英语论文,本研究旨在调查教师对高中英语新教材(PEP版)内容的再开发现状,找出其教材再开发中存在的问题,并提出相应的建议。

本文是一篇高中英语论文,笔者认为关于教师在重新开发新课本中的实施,与学生课本相比,更多的教师会将重新开发应用于教材。教师对整个教材采用最多的二次开发技术是“删除”和“省略”。

1.1 Background of the Study

The research background of the study is expounded from the following threeaspects:the requirements of the new Curriculum Standard,the requirements ofEnglish teaching practice,the requirements of teachers’professional development.

1.1.1 Requirements of the New Curriculum Standard

The new Curriculum Standard,promulgated officially in January 2018,bringsout clear requirements on the use of the English textbooks.It requires teachers toguide students to actively take part in the teaching activities based on students’existing life experience,learning interest and language proficiency”(the Ministry ofEducation,2018).Students have different characteristics as they come from differentfamily background and living environment,which are mainly reflected in thedifferences in students’interests and hobbies,learning motivations as well as learningattitudes.It means that teachers not only need to examine the textbook according tothe new Curriculum Standard,but also have to redevelop the content of the textbookfrom students’perspective.On the one hand,textbook redevelopment enables theoriginal content of the textbook to be more suitable for the real teaching and learningneeds,enhancing the adaptability of the textbook.On the other hand,it is alsofavorable for students to internalize the learning content and achieve the teachingobjectives(Guan Shimin,2008).

1.2 Purpose and Significance of the Study

This study intends to investigate the current situation of teachers’redevelopmentof the content of the new English textbook for senior high schools(PEP Edition),findthe problems exiting in the textbook redevelopment,and put forward correspondingsuggestions.The findings of this research are expected to shed light on textbookredevelopment both theoretically and practically.

Theoretically,this study provides an empirical research basis for scholars’theoretical advancement.According to the literature review on previous studies,aconsiderable number of researches have been conducted on the techniques andfunctions of textbook redevelopment.There are still some empirical researchesconcerning about textbook redevelopment.However,these studies are still relativelyinadequate.Therefore,much room is left for further studies.This study investigatesteachers’redevelopment of the new English textbook for senior high schools(PEPEdition)from the empirical point of view,so as to provide empirical research basis forsubject experts’study of textbook redevelopment.Meanwhile,it also providestheoretical reference for teachers to effectively redevelop the new textbooks in future.

Practically,this study could enhance senior high school English teachers’understanding about textbook redevelopment from an operational level.It helpsteachers get rid of the shackles of“teaching textbook”,and improve the effectiveness of using the new textbooks.First of all,teachers can deepen their reflection on theredevelopment of the new textbooks.For example,“What is the relationship betweenthe new Curriculum Standard and the new textbooks?”,“Do I neglect the needs of mystudents in using the new textbook?”and so on.Secondly,this resea论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
