foreign languages. It is therefore necessary to introduce culture into the classroom in which English taught. It is the demand for the students to learn and apply English freely and appropriately. Therefore, this paper is to make an analysis of the necessities of introducing culture into English language teaching, which is helpful for the students. The analysis starts from the relationship between language and culture, undergoes the needs of culture in English language teaching, and reveals the truth of culture introduction in order to reduce the negative transfer of native culture if the aim of our English language teaching is to help students gain the communicative ability in the language. Culture introduction is the demand of requiring the awareness of culture in quality-oriented education and introducing culture can stimulate the students’ motivation of learning English.
