摘要:本文是英语文学论文,本研究表明,布迪厄社会学视角下的翻译社会学将冰心的《印度童话集》翻译活动置于社会的大背景下进行宏观分析,同时结合社会大环境对译者产生的微观影响对翻译过程进行分析,点面结合,对于冰心《印度童话集》的翻译活动具有很强的解释力。
.Three pieces of paper analyzed or described the symbiosis relationship between BingXin’s writing and translating experiences, especially her poetry creation and translationactivities. Fourteen articles explored Bing Xin’s translation practice and thoughtsthrough her translation works and articles concerning about translation. Besides, two of them explained Bing Xin’s translation thoughts from the perspectives of EcologicalEthics and Philosophical Hermeneutics. Another two articles explored the translator’ssubjectivity in translating. The last four articles did some researches on Bing Xin’scertain translation works, such as Jitanjiali and the Prophe, in the meantime, thesestudies explored the translation styles and non-text factors influencing the translator’stranslation.

5.1 Translation-related Fields and Bing Xin’s Translation Choice
According to Bourdieu (1992), fields are relatively independent systems. Howeverthey are not totally independent, and they are affected by related fields. In recentdecades, researchers devoted to Postcolonial Theory have long shown us themanipulation, review, and rewriting of translation activities at different times, indifferent countries and cultures, hence, we can treat translation field as a special andrelatively dependent field, or a field with low refraction coefficient. For such a field,peripheral fields and the field of power interact with it. Therefore, the translationactivity does not only occur in “translation field” but also is affected by other relatedfields, and the rules of translation also interact with those of other fields. Therefore, therules in the translation field, the interaction and the relationship of translation field withother fields need to be taken into consideration, which is the first part of the researchmethods of Bourdieusian sociology.The following part will analyze fields related to translation in the 1950s.Children’s independent personality and their social status are ignored in Chinesetraditional view of children, therefore special books for children are rare and thenourishment for children’s mind is also scarce.
