(1)Through macro-contrast,it can be found that differing from the linguisticlandscape in the physical space,the virtual linguistic landscape has a more obviousattribute than the physical that is multimodality with the combination of the virtual+the real.Because particular concepts,terminologies,frameworks,mechanisms,reading and cognition applied in VLL cannot to be fully explained by the originaltheoretical framework and mechanism used in traditional linguistic landscape,atotally new framework of digitalized deliberate cognition(DDC)mediated byculture in virtual linguistic landscape(VLL)should be constructed.

(2)Through meso-construction,it can be found that,under the background ofDigital China,digital technologies and cultural parameters are inevitable cognitiveelements in the construction and construal operation of virtual linguistic landscape.Therefore,from the cognitive-functional perspective,this thesis is based onmultidisciplinary theoretical frameworks,proposing the working mechanism ofVLL and the interactive relationship of cognitive elements in VLL,which showsthat digitalization and culture are deemed as the multimodal cognitive basis ofDDC.Political+dialectical thinking and ideology are taken as the multimodalcognitive guidelines of DDC.Deliberate/non-deliberate metaphor and metonymyare taken as the multimodal cognitive mechanism of DDC.
