The advantage of the flipped classroom is that thecontent, often the theoretical-based component of the lesson, becomes more easily accessedand controlled by the learners. A major roadblock or barrier to the implementation of thismodel is that many educators do not know what to do in the classroom with the time oncespent doing lectures. For educators, who are used to use the didactic model, a framework isneeded to assist them with the implementation of the flipped classroom and the effect of theflipped classroom needs to be proved. In view of this, the main purpose of this study is to makea survey on the effect of the English flipped classroom model after research and analysis ofdomestic and foreign flipped classroom models. With the practice of the English flippedclassroom model, what learning materials offered , what teaching procedures are and how toevaluate students’ learning could be clearly illustrated. Meanwhile, analysis was made toexplore whether students were satisfied with the model. Deeply research was carried out to examine the critical factors that affect students’ perceptions of and attitudes toward the Englishflipped model since this would determine whether the teachers would continue with thisapplication. It is also necessary to survey whether students were satisfied with themicro-lectures applied in English flipped classroom model and some suggestions for teacherson using micro-lectures in flipped classroom were given.

Chapter Two Literature Review
2.1 Review of Micro-Lecture
Because of rapid development of information technology and the rapid popularization ofsmart phones,laptops, computers and mobile terminal, many colleges and universities haveestablished a digital campus with wireless campus network. Mobile learning has entered theuniversity campus due to its advantage of convenience. Micro videos or micro lectures havebecome a kind of new learning resource,which is very popular with college students. Theapplication of micro-lectures is good for students' learning,for teachers' teaching,and definitelybenefit for the development of college education,especially has realistic significance in collegeteaching.The definition of micro-lecture given by Wikipedia is to actual instructional content that isformatted for online and mobile learning using a constructive approach. More specifically, asdescribed in the Chronicle of Higher Education, these are approximately 60 secondpresentations with a specific structure. They are not just brief (one minute) presentations. Theconcept of micro-lecture is initiated by David Penrose, a senior teaching designer and Collegeonline service manager in America New Mexico San Juan College in 2008. David Penrose iscalled the One Minute Professor and he calls the micro-lecture“Knowledge Burst”.Micro-lecture, is also known as micro course, refers to the video as the main media for tenminutes time to recording the teacher’s lecture for a certain knowledge point, includingactivities of teaching and learning. Educause defines a micro-lecture as, “a short recordedaudio or video presentation on a single, tightly define topic”( Educause, 2012).Compared withthe previous teaching videos or video courses, micro-lecture video is shorter, absorbs morevarious resources, and pays more attention to the integrity of segmentation kno
