t  time  “treat  time  and  space  as  independent  variables  and  apprehend  a thing-in-itself  that  conforms  to  God’s  order  of  the  world”  (Dalgliesh  2017:  48).  When  it comes  to  the  20th  century,  however,  the  relationship  between  human  beings  and  space  has been spotlighted on the philosophical and literary stage, which shows apparently and typically recognized  in  Deleuze’s  space  philosophy  and  Bergson’s  spatial  and  psychological  time theory. Deleuze as the closest philosophical ally of Foucault has the similar absorbing origins, including Artaud and Blanchot. The main theory of space he mainly put forward is the drape space, that is, the world is constituted by smaller drape substances and the concept of drape as difference only exists in bifurcation and deformation, which floats over the limitation into the endless and unlimited free state, with the function of de-territorialisation and de-stratification. Space disperse is placed at the core of his co-authored work Capitalism and Schizophrenia: Thousand Plateau with Guttari, in which the concept of space is endowed with various sorts, for  instance,  smooth  space,  hole  space,  stratification  space  and  rhizome  space.  Besides, concepts derived from his discussion on diversified space, including lines and tiers, refers to the  movement  and  the  shape  of  space.  From  the  perspective  of  Deleuze,  space  is  not  only confined  to  the  traditionally  geographical  and  cosmological  dimension,  but  should  be  more bent  on  transformative  applications,  like  the  body  space  both  he  and  Foucault  interested  in, and the literary space focused in this thesis, both of which devote to flow, open and generate in the process of de-territorialisation and de-stratification. The typical and vital feature of the spatial  theory  represents  the  difference,  through  which  it  overturns  the  conventional  space theory  to  the  time  theory,  that  is,  the  spatialization  of  time  to  the  emphasis  of  time  itself. Bergson  as  well  pays  close  attention  to  the  philosophical  exploration  on  space  and  time. According to traditionally philosophical view, time is as the same as space like a medium.
