Collaboration is a recursive process where two or more people or organizations work together to realize shared goals. Leadership try to enhance working Collaboration when is it not possible to achieve something singly as wholly. The high spirit of collaborative orientation is developing at all level.
The combination of two or more firms in which the resulting firm maintains the identity of the one firm, usually the larger. Usually the assets and liabilities of the smaller firm are merged into those of the larger firm. Generally, the leadership of the acquiring company identifies, evaluate and negotiate with the target company’s leadership. Merger can occur on either friendly or hostile.
Leadership of the firms decides to merge to fulfill certain objectives. The overriding goal for merging is maximization of the wealth as reflected in acquirer’s share price. More specific motives include growth or diversification, synergy, fundraising, increase managerial skills or defense against take over. If merger happen willingly between the leadership of both companies on agreed terms and conditions, it is called friendly merger otherwise called hostile merger.
Leadership Role and Acquisitions.
An acquisition is the purchase of one company by another company. Consolidation is when two companies combine together to form a new company altogether. An acquisition may be private or public, depending on whether the acquiree or merging company is or isn't listed in public markets. An acquisition may be friendly or hostile. Acquisition usually refers to a purchase of a smaller firm by a larger one. Sometimes, however, a smaller firm will acquire management control of a larger or longer established company and keep its name for the combined entity.
Globalization most often refers to the increasing degree of connection between various countries and their economies. The Market Globalization refers to the efforts by the management or Leadership of businesses to expand their operations into foreign markets. Market globalization gained importance with the advent of the Internet, which gives all companies the potential to achieve global reach in their operations.
Nearly 7d decades ago, human resource management of the organizational leadership was considerably simpler because the work force was strikingly homogeneous. But today’s the organizational leadership have found that employees do not set aside their cultural values and lifestyle preferences when they come to work.
