TEACHING STRATEGIES ABOUT ORGANISATION AND MEMORY
The
teacher concerning the organisation of the classroom and lesson ought to remind
students of the classroom rules like how the children have to behave, and they
actively teach these rules by discussion and by pointing out examples of
students following those (Havey, et. el. 2005). The teacher should use simple,
clear and direct instructions and only one directive at a time. Cooper and
Bilton (2002), argue that teacher should avoid long and complex commands, like
to ask the child to do many things at the same time and should go to the next
activity when the child has completed the previous one.
TEACHING STRATEGIES ABOUT SELF-ESTEEM
When
the teacher has a positive opinion for a child then the child feels proud and
wants to take part in the lesson. So, the child with this way appreciates more
himself and discovers the limits and potential. Children can be taught by
teacher to observe and record the occurrence of their own behaviour. A positive
teacher attention, such as a smile, nod, or pat on the back, are some of the
most basic management tools in a teacher’s armamentarium(Barkley, 2006).
However the teacher has to teach children self monitoring strategies and to
teach specific methods of self-monitoring (e.g. stop-look- listen).
Teachers
and students are more satisfied with the effectiveness of teaching and learning
when teachers create learning environments that enable students to engage with
learning tasks in a variety of ways, according to their preferred learning
styles

to Stubbe (2007), students with ADHD learn most effectively in environments

teachers whilst keeping teaching activities, on the one hand, creates a
suitable frame that gives the occasion in the child to experience success. On
the other hand, it creates a positive attitude towards the children’s
educational process to encourage their additional efforts (Wender, 2000). A
teacher ought to have some principles to support children with ADHD such as; to
inform children about what they would do or when it is their turn: teacher
