The
ways to you improve your English language
All
respondents always use internet, read newspapers to learn new words, know hot
news, regularly read English books, listen English language channel including
Voice Of America – Special English and conduct private tutoring to improve
English language. Teachers need to improve their own capacity to match their
class, regularly apply teaching methods from universities to the class in order
to remember and still active as well as to improve students capacity and
reinforce teaching skills more efficiency.
Also,
adjust those skills to match with student ability rather than keep the same
methods and from theories based, read variety books, story books, English
newspapers, listen English-radio programs, peer-teaching and peer-learning – in
order to improve all skills including grammar through model examples including
model sentences, good phrases, continue study, private tutoring – need more
self-learning and further research, self-access every day, more research in
teaching and learning English through books, media, radio, TV.
Help
use to get new input or knowledge and start to apply with teaching in order to
keep long remembering, real practice with students, peer-practice with
colleagues – exchange new ideas, create opportunities to solve the problem we
have encountered in teaching and learning, private tutoring – well-reparation
before teaching, need more reading and understanding, continue studying – new
knowledge and upgrade and develop knowledge, new techniques, new teaching
skills, new methods, research through internet and documents related to
teaching methods, cassette players, peer learning and sharing,
Self-learning
and self-researching through internet, i.e. use Google and link to support the
learning, reading everyday – newspaper, focus on grammar, find other documents
for further teaching.

Subject Matter Knowledge
The
ways to teach new vocabulary
There
are several steps to present new words including firstly teachers model three
times, then students choral (repeat for whole class and as small group choral,
individual repeat. Finally; teachers write new word and allow students to copy.
Other
techniques for teaching new vocabularies; teachers can encourages students to
write difficult words on the board or let students to find difficult words from
the text. For same new words with teacher’s prediction, teachers can use
prepared supplementary materials for teaching purposes and for other new
vocabularies out of prediction, which they can be flexible and use available
resources. Actually, teachers need to introduce more new words to teach rather
than instruction from teacher guide.
Purposes
for teaching new vocabularies are to give student fast understanding and read
with correct pronunciation and accent, to spend less time, to be easy for
teachers and to attract students to pay much attention on learning.
For
practice and experience from one respondent in teaching new vocabularies,
teachers know clearly about students’ abilities, so, teachers can decide which
difficult works to teach in each lecturing rather than allow students to think
of difficult words by themselves in the period of each teaching sessi
