摘要:This paper is just discussing the translation of trademark of commodities for female from the angle of the aesthetic principle and method .In this paper, the author uses some theories of translation, such as literal translation, free translation, and also some aesthetic principle, such as the beauty in sense, sound and form.

and tone, some is romantic, some is gentle, thus it can bring the fresh feelings to the consumers. Because the name of trademark brings this kind of unique feeling to people, and increases one kind of refined art to savor, as a result, the poetic translated name strengthens the charming of trademark, and stimulates consumers’ interest, urges and guides one kind of expense trend. A poetic translated name of trademark also arouses people’s association through the vivid intuition, thus it reflects its practical value. For example, 

U.Ways, the American famous healthy food, which can be translated into “尤维斯”.This name is unable to restrain to let the people remember Venus who was a beautiful Greece God. Her perfect stature and the attractive cheek are just the general female consumers who want to pursue. Fair Lady , the France cosmetics, which is translated into “贵夫人”, its translated name has the function of letting the consumers image a graceful madam walks leisurely with graceful bearing. That kind of enjoying is self-evident. So the general female consumers enjoy the translated name which can stimulate the female consumers` desire of purchasing. OLAY, the English famous cosmetics, which is translated into “玉兰油” according to the principle of “Beauty in sense”.As we know, OLAY is loved by most female consumers. The reason why OLAY is popular among most female consumers is that it not only has good quality, but also has beautiful trademark name. When the female consumers see this translated name, they can image they may become beautiful like the beautiful flower. They can image their skin may become more white.
The examples above about the translation of trademark are all according to the principle of “Beauty in sense”. Thus all of them achieve perfect effect. Therefore, we should learn to use the principle of “beauty in sense” when we translate the trademark of the commodities for female.
2.2 The Principle of “Beauty in sound”
The principle of “beauty in sound” means that the trademark name of commodities with the characters of pronouncing resoundingly, having different rhythms and beautiful musical sense. All those characters can let the consumers have deep impression on the commodities. The sound is material which consists of the beauty in form. We can enjoy the aesthetic significance of script through the sound. The rhythm is served for performing content. The language of trademark is full of beautiful rhythm and sound by using rhythm in the trademark and has the function of strengthening the aesthetic content. If the sound of words matches appropriately, and sounds harmoniously, the effect of expression can enhance naturally. Therefore, one of the important symbols of trademark is full of rhythm. It is extremely essential that we should use the harmonics to express happy emotion and pay more attention to the beautiful sound of words.
